Wow - perfect

After a lovely welcome from the warden who informed us of local walks etc we were left to find our pitch. All pitches have amazing views. Peaceful site, amazing dog walk and one to return to.

perfect site to visit our family in Plymouth, great base to visit the area.

Plymouth Sound Club Campsite
This was our first visit to Plymouth Sound and only our third trip as new caravan owners. We were met by Anita who was very helpful and friendly, Kevin then showed us the available pitches and recommended the best one for us, we had a fantastic view out across the bay. Kevin stayed with us and helped us to level up our caravan, he couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be back for another stay, highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet site as a base to explore the area.

Great site with excellent wardens

Plymouth Sound Club Campsite
This is a great site made all the better for not having a facilities block. The wardens Kevin and Anita are super helpful. What more could we ask for? Great views? All ready sorted - the site overlooks Plymouth Sound and has great views of all the vessels entering and leaving the Sound in one direction and in another direction distance views of Dartmoor. Local facilities? Similarly sorted - pub and well stocked shop all within easy walking distance even for a person in recovery after a major knee injury! Enjoy.

Excellent Site

Plymouth Sound Club Campsite
We have just returned home after a wonderful few days spent at Plymouth Sound site. The wardens Anita and Kevin made us so welcome and were very helpful with directions and places to visit. Splendid views from our pitch overlooking Plymouth Sound and watching naval ships coming and going. We were also treated to a flying display by a neighbour to the site who uses an adjoining field to exercise his Himalayan Eagle-Owl. Campers were encouraged to watch and some also held and fed the bird. We will certainly return. Thank you Anita and Kevin.

Excellent site in great location

Plymouth Sound Club Campsite
We stayed on this site for 3 nights as we were walking a stretch of the South West Coastal path. It was a great location, only about 1 mile to the coast path and has a pub and a shop in the village. Kevin and Anita are very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and always cheerful and happy to help and chat. The site was kept very tidy and organised and they recommended the best pitches to us as some were very steep! We ate at the Mussel Inn in the village and the food and service was really good. There is only one bus in the morning at 11:00 ish into Plymouth and it was useful to get off at the Morley Arms to walk back along the coastal path. It would be great if it had a wash block but we were happy to use our own facilities. Its a great place to stay close to Plymouth and the local pasties delivered to the site were delicious!.
