Top sites for dog walking
Every one of our sites across the UK is dog-friendly. Some of our sites even have specific dog walks for you and your four-legged friend to explore; and better still, your doggy pals can stay on Club sites free of charge. Your dog is part of the family and we understand the importance of keeping your pooch close by to experience the holiday with you.
We asked our dog-owning members to let us know which sites they think are best for dogs across our network – here are the sites they recommend:
Alderstead Heath
Surrey
The site is surrounded by rolling wooded countryside and situated near the Pilgrims Way, so there are many lovely walking trails for you and your pooch to explore.
Hunter's Moon
Dorset
A perfect choice for canines, adjacent to Wareham Forest in Dorset and only a few miles from the coast – your dog will be spoilt for choice.
Dunnet Bay
Scottish Highlands
Your dog will love the three-and-a-half miles of sandy beach right on the doorstep of the Club site. You can also climb Dunnet Head for views over the Pentland Firth to Orkney.
High Onn
Peak District
This well maintained yet unspoilt site offers pure relaxation, plus extensive private dog walks will provide the perfect treat for the four-legged members of your family.
Cirencester Park
The Cotswolds
A 20-minute stroll from the Club site through parkland will bring you and your dog to the market town of Cirencester. With the Cotswolds on the doorstep, it’s the perfect base to explore.
Exmoor House
Somerset
You and your dog can head straight into Exmoor National Park from this Club site. After a long stroll head to the quaint old town of Dulverton to quench your thirst.
Treamble Valley
Cornwall
Home to one of the longest dog walks on our network, this pretty Cornish site doubles up as a nature trail. Newquay’s beaches are just 5 miles away.
