Great site

Blackshaw Moor Club Campsite
This is a great little site. We stayed over the Jubilee weekend, had a young child and a dog. The site itself is really well laid out and easy to get around. It isn't big but it has a nice dog walk around the outside. The children's play park is ideal. The toilets and the shower blocks were ideal, nothing special but they were nice and clean and there was never a queue. The grounds were looked after really well and it looked great. The pitches were fine, but the ground was very hard for pegging down the awning. The pitches seemed to be really irregular in size too, so the earlier you arrive the better chance you have of getting a larger pitch, but that's very minor. The staff were great throughout, they provided activity packs for the kids and put on a nice Jubilee celebration, they were really helpful also. A 5 minute walk from the site is a beautiful pub, well worth a visit. The only thing that made it 4 instead of a 5 was the location on the busy road, there are walks from the site but they are far with little one's, but thats the geography. The Roaches and the reservoir were only short drives, and they were well worth the visit. Overall a great site and one i would highly recommend.

Lovely clean site

Blackshaw Moor Club Campsite
Very pleasant site everyone appeared to respect the site and its speed limit i must say. Speed bumps seem a bit severe for caravans though but having a motorhome they are not a issue for us. The Toilets and showers were very clean and all refuse bins were emptied regularly. The wardens take great pride in the presentation of the site and this clearly shows on arrival. a very pleasant team and a warm welcome on arrival. we will certainly visit again.

Excellent site and wardens but fellow members need to slow down!

Blackshaw Moor Club Campsite
This site is excellent, the facilities are impeccably clean and well presented, the wardens are friendly and hardworking. The layout and play area are brilliant for children and the places nearby like Tittersworth Reservoir and Leek are great. There’s even a lovely little woodland dog walk and an across site treasure hunt! My only suggestion would be to install more speed bumps throughout the site. I know this isn’t ideal for towing caravans but people just can’t drive at five miles an hour, even when driving past a play area where children are likely to be playing. A note in red on the main website isn’t going to cut it. We were on eggshells at checking in time every day. But as I say, fantastic site, 5* for sure.

Little Haven

Blackshaw Moor Club Campsite
Quiet pretty little site, nice flat spacious pitches in small enclaves, makes a nice change from straight rows. Two toilet blocks, although a little dated, plenty of hot water in the showers and no queues. Good WiFi and TV signal through the hook up. Lots to do in the surrounding area and very friendly wardens. Will definitely visit again if only for Monty's Fish and Chips in Leek and next time will try some of the local pubs within walking distance.

First trip in the caravan

Blackshaw Moor Club Campsite
Throughally enjoyed my short stay. Well maintained site. Good pubs (3 horseshoes & Lazy Trout) and takeaways that deliver to the site. Plenty to do nearby, Walks on the Roaches and 3 shires head are worth the effort. I will definitly be coming back.
