Why stay here ...

Grafham Water Club Campsite is a peaceful, six acre oasis where you can relax and unwind. Located a mere 0.5 mile west of picturesque Grafham village in Huntingdon, the caravan park is ideal those who enjoy a slow wander in charming settings. It is also a short walk to Grafham Water, popular as an international centre for trout fishing, windsurfing and major sailing events.

Boasting green, level pitches and a children's play area, Grafham Water Club Campsite also has at its centre a 350-year old cottage, once owned by the Oliver Cromwell family. Part of the moat that surrounded the estate still exists, providing an excellent haven for local wildlife, especially our family of ducks. For those who like some energetic fun, cycling, horse riding, tennis, golf and carting are just some of the activities near the caravan site to keep you entertained. For those interested in history, the nearby Imperial War Museum, Duxford Air Museum, is well worth a visit.

There is now a community run village shop in Grafham selling essentials and groceries.

Great site

Grafham Water Club Campsite
We have just had our second stay here and it’s a great site. Very clean and the wardens busy all the time and very friendly, plenty of lovely peaceful walks around. Looking forward to staying again next year. A brilliant pizza van twice a week.

Nice, neat and small site

Grafham Water Club Campsite
Nice site very neat small - 49 hardstanding 20 grass pitches. Very peaceful. One of the most expensive so far though! Walk to the lake via lovely farmland and beside bluebell woods, plus 8 mile walk around the lake. Good cowslips, bugle and other wild flowers.

very friendly

Grafham Water Club Campsite
this site was very quiet and friendly with both staff and other visitors offering to help after we forgot to pack our aqua roll and realised our additional water tank in the garage of our motorhome was empty. It has plenty of green spaces between the pitches and does not feel like you are crammed in. There are fields with public pathways from the site where your dog can run free and a short walk to grafham water. Ate at the wheatsheaf Inn near grafham water food was excellent and dogs welcome would definitely recommend a visit

Hidden Jewel

Grafham Water Club Campsite
We have been caravanning since 2008 and in this time we have travelled extensively in the UK seeking out those distant corners to explore and in which to relax in. In our quest for new horizons and adventures we had completely overlooked what can be found almost literally on our doorstep and this was certainly the case with our five night stay at Grafham Water in May 2022. It is a big advantage to have a good knowledge of any area and this beautiful corner of Cambridgeshire is familiar to us with its charming market towns of St Neots, St Ives and Huntingdon close by and good cycling routes available to get there. A little further afield are the Cities of Peterborough and Cambridge. The site itself is well laid out on a gentle slope with access to open countryside at the back of the site and easy walking to the huge reservoir of Grafham Water to join the cyclable track around the lakes circumference. The sanitary conveniences and recycling facilities are well maintained and the showers probably among the most sizeable we have encountered. Ideal, with lenty of space for parents managing young children. The site wardens are professional and efficient in their daily routines, always courteous as is normal for C & MH Club sites and they have ensured that the site is maintained to a high standard. We can guarantee that we will be returning, making that rather tiresome journey of less than 15 miles from home but once arrived and set up we could be almost anywhere and completely relaxed and on holiday!!
