View and BookNestled on the shores of Loch Naver with a direct view of Ben Klibreck, Altnaharra Club Campsite in Lairg is perfect for those wanting to get away from it all - the nearest shops are 20 miles away. Anglers, walkers and birdwatchers will love the unspoilt natural wonders on offer in and around the caravan park.
Families will have more than enough outdoor attractions to make their holiday at Altnaharra Club Campsite memorable. Those staying on site are now have non-motorised boating rights on Lake Naver (conditions apply), ideal for those with small rowing boats and dinghies. Walks range from leisurely ambles across gentle hills such as nearby Ben Loyal, to areas like Munros, where explorations in places like Ben Klibreck and Ben Hope make for a good challenge. Also within easy reach of the caravan site, a visit to Cape Wrath by ferry and minibus to see Scotland's most north westerly point, its spectacular lighthouse and the highest sea cliff on the British mainland at Clo Mor (900 feet) will take your breath away.

Turn right off A836 (Lairg - Tongue) at crossroads 0.5 mile past Altnaharra Hotel onto B873 (Syre). The Site is on the right in about 3 miles between road and loch shore. The minor road to Hope is not suitable for caravans. If approaching from North (Bettyhill) on B873: on arrival at site, drive through gate into site entrance, park outfit, then book in at office. This is to prevent causing a traffic hazard and requiring to reverse on narrow road.
