Why stay here ...

Marazion Club Campsite is an attractive destination in Penzance with a lovely parkland feel to it - the brilliant yellow gorse which flowers in May gives special pleasure. The caravan park is only a few miles from Marazion, Cornwall's oldest chartered town.

The area offers an abundance of scenically appealing activities. Marazion Club Campsite puts you within easy reach of the beautiful Cornwall Coastal Path as well as the attractions of local towns and villages. Marazion, with its charming small cottages, looks across to St Michael's Mount - arguably the most famous view in Cornwall. The town also boasts a stunning beach ideal for families, some of the best windsurfing in Britain, great sailing with easy launching facilities, and the warmest mean climate in the country. The caravan site gives you convenient access to everything you could want from a UK summer holiday. A fish and chip van visits this site, please ask the site staff for details.

Ideal site for visiting West Cornwall

Marazion Club Campsite
There isn't much to add to previous reviews of this site. Only a basic site with no facilities but in an ideal location for visiting the many towns, villages and attractions of West Cornwall. St Ives is great (park in the leisure centre car park and walk or catch a bus into the town) and don't miss a visit to the MInack Theatre (pre-booking required) Wardens and relief wardens were all very pleasant and site well maintained. Most grass pitches on the one field are sloping but drain well. Nice dog walks in the woods next to the site. Only problem for us was that, although we visited in September, there were crow scarers going off throughout the day in nearby fields which really upset one of our dogs. Not the sites fault of course. We highly recommend this site and location.

Excellent Site & so peaceful

Marazion Club Campsite
A beautifully kept site which is natural and not manicured in any way but has lovely grass pitches. We stayed for 9 nights and chose it because it has no toilet or shower facilities. The wardens were really friendly and helpful, ensuring that all guests made the most of their stay. Highly recommend this site as it was quiet, well managed and perfectly situated to visit the Cornish attractions. Please CMC do not close this site, it is a real gem and does not need upgrading - it’s just perfect as it is.

Tranquil site near Penzance

Marazion Club Campsite
This is a superb site, which has the benefit of eco pitches (no electric) for those who are self-contained- which are a bargain! The site benefits from NOT having a toilet block; it is cheaper than most sites, and given most units have their own facilities, can make for a bargain break away, The site is incredibly well managed, with super friendly staff- and the welcome pack of maps, guides and local advice was superb. The site has undulating pitches, which are easy enough to level on (though you might need some blocks, depending on your choice of pitch). Its a lovely site and I would return in a tick but... The only downside? Apparently that the site is being closed at the end of September and will no longer be a CMC site. This is a shame- its a great basic site, with a fabulous rural setting, near the honeypot of St Michaels Mount and Penzance. It doesn't suffer the highly manicured appearance of many CMC sites, instead relying on simple grass pitches and limited facilities. This will be a loss to the CMC- having only just discovered it, I would be returning annually, should it stay open. More sites, that are simple, (like many CL sites but bigger) should be in the CMC network.

Peaceful site in great location

Marazion Club Campsite
This is a lovely site in a great location close to fantastic beaches, plus the attractions of Penzance and St Ives. Perranuthnoe beach, which is the nearest, is great and equipped with cafes, loo block and pub. Only down side to site is lack of loo block. We highly recommend the visiting fish and chip van; great service and quality. The Crown in nearby Goldsithney also good. You can walk there along a quiet road and bridleway rather than on the (slightly) busier road
