Why stay here ...

Located within Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Freshwater East Club Campsite offers more than just the fresh coastal air and warm sunshine. The park boasts many picturesque walks along the coastal path with stunning cliff top views. The caravan park itself is flanked by trees on one side, with a mixture of grass and hardstanding tiered pitching areas to choose from.

A stretch of long, sandy beach is minutes away, with rock pools and coves for exploring at one end. You will be spoilt for choice for castles to visit in the area - take your pick from Pembroke, Manorbier or Carew with its restored tidal mill and pond. If you have a pooch they will be spoilt for choice, with plenty of dog friendly beaches nearby.

Freshwater East Club Campsite puts you within easy reach of a wealth of attractions. A visit to Barafundle Bay (only accessible by foot) and Broadhaven beaches, taking in Bosherton lily ponds is highly recommended. Or head in the opposite direction to the popular walled town of Tenby with its colourful harbour, sandy beaches and boat trips to Caldey Island. If you fancy something a bit more adventurous, why not visit Ireland - sailings leave daily from Pembroke Dock, only a short drive away from the main caravan site.

Fantastic

Freshwater East Club Campsite
Initially I was hesitant - a steep hill down to the site and a layout which is linear heading away from the beach. Forget that. From the warm welcome and the spotless facilities through to the large, sunny (honest) pitch this was great. The nearby beach is terrific as are the clifftop coastal walks from the site north to Stackpole Quay or south to Manorbier. We loved Carew Castle and the mill (joint, inexpensive ticket) which offered a great picnic spot and the walk from there to the pub at Cresswell Quay. There, we sat outside whilst locals chatted fondly about the area. Will we be back? What do you think? Thank you.

One of our new favourites

Freshwater East Club Campsite
Had a beautiful stay at Freshwater East for a couple of nights, tagged on the end of a 4 night stay in St Davids. Now we wish that Freshwater East was the longer of two as it was far better than our first stop. Stunning peaceful location, no mobile signal was a blessing too. Warden was friendly and funny on our arrival and made us feel very welcome. The lady in reception was the same. The team have a good well managed process for check ins. Beach was beautiful and we enjoyed watching a good variety of birds in the Secret Marsh reserve next to the site. Facilities well maintained and very clean. Will definitely be returning. Well done guys.

The best site in Wales

Freshwater East Club Campsite
Fantastic site with direct access to the beautiful dog friendly beach. The staff work hard to keep the site in perfect condition and are extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they even came down to the carpark with jump leads to help restart my car! The nearby Jack's bar and restaurant was a short flat walk away and did tasty take away food as well so saved having to drive out. Thank you......we will definitely be visiting again. πŸ˜β›΅πŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸ•πŸŒžπŸ–

Pleasant and relaxing stay

Freshwater East Club Campsite
First visit here and we are really enjoying it. Facilities are good, very clean and well maintained. The site is the same and all the wardens we have met are pleasant, helpful and hard working. We have enjoyed exploring the area especially Manorbier and Barafundle beaches and Stackpole Quay. What we didn’t like was the way the vacant grass pitch next door was used as a dog toilet. We kept the blinds closed on that side of the caravan. If only the site had a dog walk area……….. which it does.
