View on mapSituated right on the edge of an elegant spa town, Cheltenham Racecourse Club Campsite is a desirable site and the perfect base from which to explore the delights of the area. The town of Cheltenham is just one and a half miles from the caravan site through a nearby park, or you can use the convenient regular transport service provided by the Park and Ride. The site is also well placed for visiting the city of Gloucester with its Cathedral and other historic buildings. 50 of the 76 pitches on site are hardstanding so you have a very good chance of securing a hardstanding pitch which gives you more opportunity to tour even when the weather is bad!
Cheltenham Racecourse Club Campsite puts a wealth of fun activities within easy reach. With its tree-lined promenade and colonnaded buildings, the Regency Spa town is an absolute pleasure for the pedestrian. Regent Arcade provides a wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants and you will want to take in the sight of the delightful Wishing Fish Clock. The Everyman Theatre is available for those wanting to experience a little culture as well as enjoying the scenic views of its well maintained gardens. Why not experience the thrill of the races? Famed for the Cheltenham Gold Cup, held every year in March, the racecourse has fixtures throughout the year. All in all, the caravan site offers enough memorable attractions to keep visitors returning time and again.
