Why stay here ...

Burford Club Campsite is an attractive and spacious destination, with well landscaped pitching areas, children's play area suitable for all ages and pleasant dog walk. It is conveniently set opposite the beautiful Cotswold Wildlife Park, a popular family attraction in the area with rhinos, zebras and leopards - your children will be enchanted. The Brass Rubbing Centre, superb gardens and narrow gauge railway - all are must see attractions making for a fantastic day out. Discounted tickets can be purchased from the sites reception, during office hours, for Cotswold Wildlife Park located just across the road from the site.

Burford itself is a beautiful unspoilt Cotswold village, located conveniently near to the Burford Club Campsite. Populated with the warm, honey coloured stone buildings characteristic of the area, this small and sleepy town is a delight for families to discover. The caravan park is also close to the village of Bourton-on-the-Water with its Motor Museum, Model Railway and fine traditional pottery making.

Burford Golf Club is about a 5 minute drive from the site and offers a good challenge whatever your handicap. The Rose and Crown at Shilton just over the crossroads has excellent cask beer and serves top quality food. Bilbury and the wool town of Northleach, with its church and eccentric collection of mechanical music are also conveniently at hand during your stay on this wonderful site.

Peace, quiet and excellent wardens

Burford Club Campsite
We arrived here on Sunday 5th June after curtailing a stay at Chapel Lane club site due to bird scarers petrifying our dog. The site was almost empty and had a lovely calm feeling about it. The wardens were fantastic right from the get go, with lots of information and help. Spotless facilities loads of space and ever attentive wardens were fantastic From reduced tickets to wildlife park to fish and chip van on Tuesday everything was spot on. Special mentions to Cath and her husband for attention to detail and helpfulness Just what we neede

Short but Sweet

Burford Club Campsite
We regularly use this site as a stop over on our trips to the North (Having stayed there for a longer period in the Past). Great site. Easy to access and good facilities for families. We had another seamless and peaceful stay thank you. See you again sometime soon.

Nice site

Burford Club Campsite
First visit to Burford club site, though emacualte and very clean, for us, the other club site at Morton is much better. There are a number of positives for the site, the location of Cotswold wildlife park, the large play area for young children. It felt very much enclosed with not mich space between tourers. The dog walk area could be better like ourselves a number of families need to excercise pets and the limited off lead space is something that could be improved. There are not really any safe walking areas off the site and distance into Burford though beautiful and worth a visit is not close enough to walk safely along busy roads. Burford is a nice site but visiting the Cotswolds, Morton would be our choice.

Gem of a site.

Burford Club Campsite
We have just had our second visit to this site with our young grandchildren ages 3 and 5. The proximity to the Wild Life Park is a huge bonus and we visited the Park on both days we were there. The site has a visiting fish and chip van, and a pizza van, which are very convenient. The wardens are extremely welcoming and helpful. The site is immaculately kept and the pitches are generally flat and very well spaced out. The site is fabulous for children, with an excellent play area and small wooded areas along the edge of the field where they can play, climb trees, make dens and have adventures. The only disadvantage to the site is the distance into Burford itself. As we are in a motorhome we try to choose sites where we can walk easily to a pub or shop. There is parking available in Burford for motorhomes however, and many gorgeous villages and towns to visit nearby. This is a gem of a site and one that we will definitely be returning to.

Great site

Burford Club Campsite
Just back from a week at this site and it is definitely one of our favourites. As many people have said the welcome is great, warm and friendly. Also helped us out with a problem on our new motorhome. The site is great and the facilities are top notch too, will definitely be back!
