View and BookFamily fun, dog friendly & beautiful beaches at Southlands
Situated on the outskirts of the small village of Newchurch in the beautiful Arreton Valley, Southland Club Campsite is a great location to enjoy your holiday. Half the island is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there are over 120 attractions and places of interest for you and your family to visit.
Southland Club Campsite is a great choice for an Isle of Wight caravan park. It has flat, level, well drained meadowland pitches as well as a large playground and play areas. Trees and shrubs punctuate the site layout, giving a peaceful feeling of privacy. The caravan park is convenient for all parts of the island, and within easy reach of some of the finest beaches.
The island has an excellent bus transport system and you can catch buses from the Isle of Wight Zoo which frequently run into Sandown and Newport. Sandown and Shanklin are only 3 miles by road and both of these towns share the same sheltered bay with its sandy beaches and safe bathing, perfect for families. Newchurch village with its charming Norman church is five minutes on foot and there you will also find a pleasant country inn serving fresh, hearty food.
The garlic farm, a short distance from the site, is said to make the best coffee on the island. Slightly further afield there are loads of fun activities available including sea and freshwater fishing, golf, tennis, squash, swimming, horse riding, windsurfing, sailing and more. The information room at the site offers plenty more ideas for getting out and about in the local area.
Our popular Sail & Stay breaks are great value and we're pleased to offer you them again for 2022. Our combined deals include return ferry crossings to the Isle of Wight and a stay at our Southland Club campsite for four nights or more. To find out more click here.

We advise members to review Portsmouth's Clean Air Zone and check at Gov. UK Clean Air Zone if charges may apply for your vehicle to drive into the city or pass through the zone on your journey to site.
