Why stay here ...

Nestled in a tree lined, park like setting, Rowan Park Club Campsite is adjacent to a country park yet conveniently situated alongside the A29 and just 2 miles from the traditional seaside resort of Bognor Regis. Bognor Regis has a shingle and sand beach, promenade plus many appealing entertainments for your camping or touring experience, including South Coast World - a Butlins attraction - where one entrance fee allows access to all of the rides throughout the day - a bargain for the whole family to enjoy.

This site is well suited for motorhomes, caravans and campers, with a variety of facilities to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy your time away. As our only Bognor Regis caravan park, you’ll be perfectly situated to make the most of what the town has to offer, while being a short trip away from the historic city of Chichester.

Rowan Park Club Campsite also gives you convenient access to Arun Leisure Centre, home to a fine indoor swimming pool. Must see attractions are Arundel Castle and Chichester Cathedral, whilst the Chichester Festival Theatre offers theatre goers the chance to experience both classical and contemporary plays whilst Arundel hosts a popular Music and Drama Festival at the end of August. You will be well located for Glorious Goodwood in July, Goodwood Revival (September) and the Festival of Speed in June, which means you'll be well located to enjoy a range of events when staying at this campsite in West Sussex. Picturesque Bosham is also nearby and offers a lovely walk along the harbour and pubs within the village. Maiden trip for our motorhome.

Rowan Park Club Campsite
Rick & Kay are great hosts, very friendly & helpful. Rowan Park is a lovely site but sadly not in a lovely location. As mentioned previously - the constant traffic noise arising from the close proximity of busy main roads. We were aware of the traffic situation before we travelled & to be honest, we weren't particularly concerned with it, although there is a continual reminder of its presence. When the weather allowed, we were still able to eat al fresco & continue any conversation. We were there 24 - 30/05/2022. It was busy but never felt overcrowded. A nicely laid out & maintained site. I would still recommend Rowan Park, thanks to Rick & Kay and the work they do to keep a pristine site with the warning to be aware of the traffic noise situation.

Great Club Site

Rowan Park Club Campsite
Lovely site, mainly due to the friendly staff who look after you. Great facilities and nicely laid out. Great dog walk nearby in Berstead Marshes. The noise from the building site of the adjacent retail park is tolerable and usually stops at teatime. Well done to the whole team who make sure you have a pleasant stay. A great stay for a few days

Rowan Park Club Campsite
First time visiting Rowan Park. 1st impressions lovely clean and pretty site. Wardens were great and got lots of site and local area info. We’re able to go and choose a pitch. Toilet block pristine, site kept lovely and tidy. Plenty of service points. Local area has food pubs and shops within walking distance of site. Yes there is road noise but we do at home so not a problem. Definitely coming back!

1 night camper van stay

Rowan Park Club Campsite
A nice site in a road noise affected location. The wardens Kay and Rick are really nice and helpful and the site was spotless. Lots of useful information given on check in. Facilities kept clean and site was looked after. We slept in our pop-top camper which probably made it noisier, our neighbours in a motorhome said they could hear the noise at night. The small but spacious site is close to shops. Across the road are plenty of shops including KFC, The Food Warehouse,Matalan and Halfords. Sainsbury, Tesco,Costa, Starbucks and a pub is only a 10-15 min walk away. The road noise is not bad on pitches 18,19 and 20. Toilet/shower block closes between 10:30 and 11:30 is very clean and have excellent hot showers. Alternative toilets available 24/7. Laundary and dish washing room were also very clean. All refuse areas well labelled. MSP very clear. A good clean and friendly site worthy of using again.

Traffic Noise….Remember when pitching up!

Rowan Park Club Campsite
For us personally once pitched up, we explore by foot or public transport. Our first visit to Rowan Park, we was aware for traffic noise from previous reviews so thought we knew what to expect. It was even worse than we imagined. Unfortunately most pitches where traffic noise was a little less were taken. Having said that all pitches you will hear traffic because of the close proximity to busy roads. Lots of info given on check in. Facilities kept clean and site was looked after. Even told don’t mind wether you drive in or reverse in, just not sideways. (Of course not ) I explained our habitation door is European side so we always drive onto pitches for this reason. On our last day we had someone pitch up next to us and their habitation door faced ours. As they also drove onto pitch. Never had this before and won’t again had we not been leaving next day I would of said something. Not a nice feeling constantly feel eyes watching us. They left their door open a lot, which made me keep my blinds closed. I guess this is fine if your with friends but definitely not complete strangers. Also a little confused as to why cones and closed sign over pitch number on 3 pitches. The 4 nights we were there no one used them. Even on leaving site pitches on the left of exit all had cones.
