Great site

Alderstead Heath Club Campsite
We stopped here for one night on our way home from France as it is near to M25. Made most welcome by the friendly wardens. Site is well maintained and facilities spotless. Good dog walking in woods just outside entrance and liked the dog shower area provided. Access on local roads is a bit congested and busy especially at school drop off times. However, the site itself is so quiet and peaceful you would never know you were so close to London.

Overnight stop off

Alderstead Heath Club Campsite
We used this site as a stop off on our way to the channel tunnel. It is a big site and the pitches are nicely spaced out. The site is very well maintained, given the number of staff for such a big site they have done really well but I would guess they never get a break. That said they were all very cheerful and friendly. The facilities were spotless and the showers were hot and powerful. Anyone with children will find they are very well catered for. We spotted the outdoor chess board and the adventure playground. There is also ample room for kids to run and play. There is a very friendly ginger 🐈 that paid us a visit. The walk into Coulsdon is very pleasant and we had a good meal at The Fox in Netherne-on-the-Hill, I would use this site again

First visit to this site

Alderstead Heath Club Campsite
Good morning we visited this site on our way back from France. we asked for a disabled plot for my wife. when we arrived at the plot. all of the marker pegs where on the floor looking like they had been run over. so I picked the marker pegs up and put them were they should be. while I was doing this I couldn't help noticing all around the pitch were cigarette butt's. then I went to the gents toilets. one toilet was back filling. Full of excrement. another toilet had been used full of excrement but not flushed. never seen this before at any club sites.

Best caravan site we have ever stayed at

Alderstead Heath Club Campsite
Excellent site. Amazing to find such peace and quiet so near London. The spring flowers and nearby bluebells were amazing. 5 star shower facilities and the New Wardens went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This was the first time on a Caravan Club site and if they are all like this we will be a member for a very long time.
