Mixed feelings

Black Horse Farm Club Campsite
Can see the appeal of this site for people either catching or returning from the ferry terminal at Dover. Other than that it really doesnt hold any real appeal, lower toilet facilities are dated and the water luke warm and they close at 10am for cleaning which frankly is far too early. Useful shop opposite the side on a very busy main road......pub is a bit weird, not serving food after three on a Sunday. Useful for a bus into Canterbury or Folkestone if so needed. Staff were very friendly unlike many other club sites where they seem to have a poor attitude....makes me wonder why they apply for jobs as wardens really...if you dont like dealing with the public then dont apply for the jobs, leave it to someone who enjoys the camping lifestyle.

A lovely site

Black Horse Farm Club Campsite
Stayed for a few days break. Was met by friendly warden who quickly found me a great pitch close to the facilities. The site is quiet but close to all the main routes. Enjoyed the time there. Has a great dog run where you can let your dogs off the lead. Facilities are clean and close to the pitches.

Great place to stay!

Black Horse Farm Club Campsite
This is a great site to stay at - Tony made us very welcome and was extremely helpful. The facilities are great lovely hot showers with good water pressure. Great place to stay if you want to catch the bus into Folkestone or Canterbury (The bus stop is just outside the site entrance) Drop into The Black Horse pub across the road if you fancy a pint - the staff are very friendly

Staff were amazing

Black Horse Farm Club Campsite
This is the best welcome and check in we have ever had at a CAMC site. The staff, Rachael especially went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. It would be great if the staff here could train all CAMC wardens because they just made our stay fantastic. The facilities are a little tired but who cares when the staff can’t do enough for you? The staff really put to shame a lot of other Wardens on CAMC sites. Area Manager please take note and give them a pay rise 😁 Thank you guys especially Rachael

Outstanding

Black Horse Farm Club Campsite
Stayed here several times and always the same high quality. The professionalism of Tony and Annette is outstanding. They work tirelessly to keep the site clean tidy and ensure everyone enjoys their stay. The cleanliness of the shower block is testament to their hard work it is spotless, the cleanest of any site we have visited. Lots to see locally, Battle of Britain Museum in Hawkinge is close and well worth a visit. Folkestone Old High Street is full of local independent shops, follow it down to the harbour and wander through to the harbour arm, lots of lovely food stands and bars.
