Why stay here ...

Forfar Lochside Club Campsite offers a picturesque parkland location on the shores of the loch within Forfar Loch Country Park. The beautiful country park is ideal for dog walking, cycling or a quiet stroll through the trees with fantastic views - for keen walkers it is possible to walk round the entire loch! This award-winning caravan site is also situated within a few minutes' walk of the bustling centre of Forfar, the county town of Angus.

The site has undergone extensive improvements since its acquisition by the Club. With five acres of flat, grassy parkland providing 70 pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes, the caravan site is adjacent to a splendid children's play area, pitch and putt, crazy golf and football pitches.

Forfar is an excellent base from which to explore Glamis Castle (childhood home of the Queen Mother), the Angus Glens which offer spectacular hillwalking and the rugged cliffs and sandy beaches of the Angus coast. For golf enthusiasts there are 16 courses within easy reach, including one in Forfar itself.

Very clean

Forfar Lochside Club Campsite
Visited Forfar Lochside whilst touring Scotland in May, arrived about 10 minutes before 1, missed entrance and had to turn round. Already queue as site wouldn’t allow access until 1. Had grass pitch as all we could book. Not able to change but pitch dry and no issues. Facilities spotless, access by key due to location near town. Staff very friendly, shops within walking distance. 2.5 mile walk around loch from site. Noise from fair was a bit intrusive. Would visit again in preference to some other sites.

Cleanest Facilities Ever Experienced!

Forfar Lochside Club Campsite
Stopped at Forfar in a hired campervan at the beginning and end of a tour of Scotland. Convenient location for our needs. I have to say that the toilet/shower facilities here are the best thought out and cleanest we have ever experienced on any site, club or otherwise. Could not fault them in any way. Staff were excellent and very friendly even though we arrived late on our first night there. The site is in the town itself so very convenient for shops etc. but not the most picturesque setting although, of course, it is set beside Forfar Loch but only a few pitches have a direct view over this. We would definitely stay here again.

ANOTHER FANTASTIC STAY

Forfar Lochside Club Campsite
Stayed on 4th - 7th March, another great stay at this fantastic site. The site had just opened for the season and it was business as usual. Very friendly staff (as always), facilities spotlessly clean( as always) and the Park looked great! We love this site because of its staff.,cleanliness , friendliness and a stroll into town. You can have a Chinese delivered to your pitch or walk down to the Pend Chip Shop fantastic! You also have many supermarkets within walking distance. Keep up the good work!

Worth a visit

Forfar Lochside Club Campsite
Site is well kept, toilets clean, best disabled facilities that CAMC have. Big issue is lack of sign to show where site is.
