Why stay here ...

Merrose Farm Club Campsite is an immaculately kept, well-landscaped parkland location with a great feeling of open space and good views of the surrounding countryside. The caravan park is also conveniently close to a scenic coastal path for the family to explore.

If you're visiting the Truro area for the first time you have a surprise in store - the Roseland Peninsula is as pretty as its name. There are charming narrow lanes starred with flowers, quaint little fishing villages and cosy sheltered beaches. In summer, the warm climate brings dazzling splendour to local gardens. A day or two exploring some of the charming fishing villages within easy reach from the Merrose Farm Club Campsite is well worth it - places such as St Mawes, Portscatho, Portloe or Mevagissey are known for their quaint appeal. The Eden Project is also located nearby - as one of the UK's top gardens and conservation tourist attractions, this is also not to be missed. Quite simply, this caravan site puts nature's bounty on your doorstep. Onsite facilities include a playground and play area for children and a good-sized dog walk. A fish and chip van visits this site, please ask the site staff for details.

Excellent site for dog owners

Merrose Farm Club Campsite
Lovely choice of pitches, some shaded by trees, others out in the open. There is a good sized free-to-roam dog walking field and excellent walks direct from the site. The local stretch of coast path, which easily accessible from the site, is lovely and The Hidden Hut cafe along its way is well worth a visit. A particular mention for the wardens who came to my rescue when the lever for the grey waste valve 'disappeared' through a hole in the floor of my van. It was recovered using a long tent peg which they provided and which they insisted I kept in case the same thing should happen again. Very helpful and much appreciated.

Fabulous

Merrose Farm Club Campsite
A return visit to this lovely campsite. Some changes have been made the cleaning of shower blocks has been moved to the afternoon, what a great idea it gets rid of the scramble to shower in the morning before cleaning. Love the bug hotel and there seems to be a camp cat which we christened Mr Twinkletoes he enjoys sleeping in peoples awnings and if you are not alert will find him on the bed. So pleased to see the toiler/shower blocks have been repainted, they did need a refresh. It was difficult to erect our awning as parking up to the peg left little room for it, some people had cockeyed awnings because of this rule. A peaceful quiet site though some dogs were not using their 'indoor voice' in fact were quite loud, although the majority are so beautifully behaved. Childrens play area is great fun. Wardens are friendly and welcoming

Great Site

Merrose Farm Club Campsite
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Merrose Farm. Lovely clean, spacious and level hard standing pitch. Wardens were very welcoming and friendly. Booking in was easy and moving around the site was easy. The traffic light system down the narrow approach lane took the worry out of meeting any oncoming traffic. The site is very well maintained with all facilities being spotless, with hand sanitisers at strategic locations. The site is well placed for local attractions and access to coastal path which is about 15 minutes walk from site. We particularly liked the afternoon cleaning of the shower block which meant no rushing in the mornings. We definitely recommend staying here and will return in the future.

If it’s possible even better

Merrose Farm Club Campsite
We have visited this site many times and if it’s possible it is even better this year. The wardens are exceptional - charming and efficient. The new loo block cleaning times - moved to the afternoons - seems to work well. The site was quiet as we missed the busy Easter period so the wardens were busy making even more improvements. Back again in May we hope and booked for busy July. Brilliant.

Fabulous area to visit

Merrose Farm Club Campsite
Merrose farm site is in the beautiful Roseland peninsula. There are lots of lovely coastal villages to visit and many beaches. Parking can be limited so best to plan ahead. At Mawes is within easy distant where you can get the regular ferry to Falmouth. There are several National Trust gardens not too far away. The seal sanctuary is also worth a visit. The site is well placed for walks along the coastal path. Staff at the site are very friendly and helpful. All facilities are well maintained. The children play are is one of the best we have seen on a club site. We have had a truly wonderful holiday here.
