Why stay here ...

Modbury Club Campsite is situated within easy distance to the ancient village of Modbury. Nestled cosily between the moors and the sea, it is the perfect base from which to explore the charming surrounds of South Devon. The caravan site offers you the pleasant choice between the quiet and solitude of beautiful Dartmoor with its tumbling streams, historic landscapes and lush views or the many small villages that make up the pleasantly rural South Hams.

There are many charming sandy coves placed conveniently close to the caravan site and the Coastal Path which follows the South Western peninsula from Dorset right the way around to Somerset offers ideal walks for you to explore at your leisure. Whatever your mood, Modbury Club Campsite offers you an absorbing break. Should you feel the urge for a shopping spree, Plymouth is just a short journey away and includes a wealth of restaurants and pubs to choose from.

Great site - great location

Modbury Club Campsite
Lovely site , perfectly maintained and run by the fantastic and friendly wardens. Great location, 10 minutes from the A38, 20 minutes to Salcombe or Bigbury on sea and about 30 minutes to Plymouth. Modbury is just down the road which is nice to visit and there is a SPAR less than a mile form the site gates. Would highly recommend.

Immaculate Site 10/10

Modbury Club Campsite
We stayed during May half term 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The site is so peaceful, immaculately clean, has good pitch sizes and the two people that run the site were so welcoming, helpful and friendly. They came to our rescue at 10.30 at night when we could not get our electrics to work, we were so grateful for the help after driving for many hours and having two children with us. Both my children enjoyed the park on site and I have to mention that the showers were lovely and hot. I would not hesitate in returning to this great site, it’s conveniently located between Torquay and Plymouth too.

Peaceful, Relaxing Site

Modbury Club Campsite
We recently spent a week at Modbury site and thoroughly enjoyed it. The site is quiet, peaceful, relaxing and well kept. The wardens are welcoming, friendly and very helpful and it was a pleasure meeting you. The only downside is that it is typical narrow Devonshire country lanes to access the site, but this is out of the control of the CAMC. Will definitely be back again, thank you!
