A pleasant and charismatic site

Stanmore Hall Touring Park
Stayed once before in 2019, but was in early Winter, so we decided to return in warmer times. As is with other Morris sites, Stanmore has excellent facilities, well tended pitches, a good shop and looked after greenery. The staff were very helpful and cheerful, offering help when necessary. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed both time at the site and away from it. The site was mostly quiet and we enjoyed time sitting outside the MH until the early evening, helped by the fact the sun was out and it was warm. On the days we were there, we tried the Pizza one night as well as the Gin Bar, both were very enjoyable, especially in the area overlooking the onsite lake. Off site, we went for a couple of walks around Comer Woods, and Stanmore Hall Woods, and also took the walk down to the Danery, a very pleasant pub. Took a trip into Bridgnorth and went up the Cliff Railway to the High Town, and again enjoyed a mooch around the town enjoying lunch in one of the many cafes. The only small thing that wasn't resolved whilst we were there was the wifi, it never worked for the 4 days we were there. The staff had tried to get it sorted without any luck, so couldn't watch any streaming services in the evenings

A stay here provides an experience that gives a strong sense of wellbeing

Stanmore Hall Touring Park
Tranquil. Peaceful. A stay here provides an experience that gives a strong sense of wellbeing. The natural world is right here in abundance, before rushing out ... take the time to enjoy the site, the setting that's been created and the wildlife that actually wants to interact with (courteous) humans. The team running the site are really nice people and want to help guests. Other people have already said everything about the shop and facilities. I agree with them. It could be considered 'pricey' to stay here than other places, but on reflection, it was well worth it.

Second Visit

Stanmore Hall Touring Park
This was our second visit to Stanmore and again it was a pleasure. We didn't take our bikes this time so got the local bus into Bridgnorth a lovely town, with lots of great tea rooms. We also walked to The Dannery pub which is about a mile away down hill, the walk back up burns off the calories consumed in the pub or so I tell myself! The locals and staff were very welcoming. The food here is good, as well as the lovely hand pulled ale! Again the wardens were pleasant, chatty and very helpful and do a great job at keeping the site maintained to an excellent standard. A great weekend all round.

Perfect week away!

Stanmore Hall Touring Park
We have just spent a perfect week away here, it was our first visit but I'm sure that we'll be back. The site and facilities are very well kept and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Bridgnorth and the surrounding area are well worth the trip.

Solo serenity

Stanmore Hall Touring Park
Perfect 3 night stay with my dogs. Facilities immaculately clean and park beautifully kept. Wardens especially helpful as travelling solo with motormover broken. Lovely little country park adjacent, in which dogs and I enjoyed the last of the warm autumn sunshine. Will definitely be back.
