Troutbeck Head Club Campsite in Cumbria

Last updated 18 April 2022

On 22 February the UK Government announced the lifting of all Covid regulations as they applied to England, from 28 March many restrictions related to staying on campsites in Wales were lifted; and from 18 April many restrictions related to staying on campsites in Scotland have now been lifted. However it is still advisable to maintain sensible precautions as we all learn to live with Covid.  In this respect, the Club will continue to take a responsible approach to support everyone’s safety and wellbeing which is, as always, of paramount importance to us.

Specifically, we encourage all members and guests to continue to wear face coverings and maintain social distancing in our campsite reception/office and other communal areas on our sites in England, Scotland and Wales.

Guidance and restrictions may still vary across all UK countries so please check each of the country tabs below for the specific updates on our campsites in each country.

We strive to keep this page as up to date as possible, but please always check the relevant Government websites for the very latest information using the links below:

England

Following the latest Government announcement on 22 February, we have updated our Covid guidance at our Club campsites in England. Please see below for further details.

Current guidance

Face coverings and social distancing
We encourage you to continue wearing face coverings and maintain social distancing in our office/ reception/ shop and all other indoor spaces on our campsites, including shared facilities such as toilet blocks, washing up areas and information points to help protect fellow members, guests and staff.

Please note: certain facilities may be closed or temporarily unavailable due to essential maintenance. We recommend always checking the individual site details pages on our website for the latest information.

We understand that some members may still wish to use their own facilities instead. We fully support anyone who wishes to do this and would like to ask all members to respect everyone’s individual preferences.

Covid and isolation

If you have tested positive for Covid or are showing Covid symptoms we ask that you do not attend our campsites until such time that your symptoms have abated or that you have a clear test result.  For members or guests already on our campsites, and are showing symptoms of Covid (or have a positive test result), we ask that you arrange to return home as soon as is possible.  You or a member of your family should not self-isolate on our campsites.
