From tranquil gardens to the steep ascent of the South Downs, the East Sussex countryside has much to offer. The bridleways of the South Downs, which extend into West Sussex and Hampshire, have some of the best off-road cycling in the country.
There are spectacular coastlines and many scenic fishing villages to visit along the way, with Kent just a stone's throw from the eastern towns of East Sussex.
England’s history can be experienced throughout East Sussex, the county home to an array of historical structures from across the centuries. Be sure to visit the medieval Bodiam Castle, whose highlights include a drawbridge and moat as well as stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
If you are looking to explore East Sussex on holiday then consider stopping at one of our touring sites.
On the edges of central Brighton is the Brighton Caravan Club Site. A seaside town with many attractions and an iconic pier, the site offers easy access to the town centre on regular buses and via the local Volks Railway service along the seafront. The site includes plenty of pitching spaces for camping as well as touring caravans and motorhomes.
Located in the rural areas of East Sussex is the Broomfield Farm Caravan Club Site, outside East Hoathly and a short way from Waldron. Surrounded by woodland and meadows, this site is ideal for a peaceful retreat with your caravan or motorhome.
In the southern parts of High Weald, and close to the historic 1066 trail, is the Battle Normanhurst Court Caravan Club Site. Located in a former manor house garden, the site offers fantastic walks, access to amazing wildlife, and is perfect for an escape from the city.
Our site furthest east in the county and just a short drive away from the historic town of Hastings is the Fairlight Wood Caravan Club Site. The site is located near the costal edge of East Sussex and Old Hastings, and lands you among walking routes through woodlands and wildlife.
