Plitvice Holiday Resort
We came here to visit the national park, which is an easy 5 miles away. The park is stunning, well worth a visit. About £20 entry which includes boardwalks, boat and train ride. Catering available and I believe you can take picnics.
The site is undergoing building work, l think of the pool area, so this wasn’t available. The pitches are large and have a gravel surface, with all services. Some access issues for large outfits like ours (5 m car+ 8 m caravan) with a dodgy motor mover!
There is a bar, but we only went once as it was soooo smokey. The restaurant was nice and there is a well stocked shop.
There only appears to be one sanitary block, which was dated, freezing but spotlessly clean. Think this could be an issue when the site is busy.
