Why stay here ...

Edinburgh Club Campsite is an ideal location for your holiday getaway. Situated on the Firth of Forth, the caravan park provides easy access to Edinburgh, Europe's festival capital. You will be ideally located for the many attractions, both modern and historic, that this beautiful city has to offer.

Edinburgh is a friendly, cosmopolitan city. Edinburgh Club Campsite puts you within easy reach of some of its most famous landmarks. You can visit the castle which clings dramatically to a huge rock face (home to the Scottish Crown Jewels), walk down the Royal Mile to the Palace of Holyrood House (the Queen's official Scottish residence), stroll past the historic Scottish Parliament Building or enjoy the tranquil green expanse of Princes Street Gardens. The caravan site location also ensures that you're well placed for the famously fun summer festivals, seaside strolls, a round or two of golf, Edinburgh Zoo and an almost unlimited choice of restaurants, bars and other entertainment venues.

The site is only a stone’s throw away from the waterfront where campers can walk along the promenade of Cramond and, only a short drive away, visitors can enjoy the popular coastal suburb of Portobello with its pubs, restaurants and shops.

Great place with excellent public transport links a short walk away

Edinburgh Club Campsite
We stayed here for 4 nights recently over the 'Edinburgh Marathon Festival' time and were very impressed with everything. A friendly welcome from polite staff, pitches very nicely spaced out, easy access to the necessary facilities and a short walk to the nearby beach for our dog, too. There are a number of buses leaving from various bus stops about a 5-10 minute walk away, which meant we could just park up on site and leave the motorhome there. We've booked again for next year!

Lovely site - everything you need

Edinburgh Club Campsite
Stayed for 5 nights, extended from 3 nights as we were having such a great time! Pitches are a great size, the staff were all so helpful and the toilets blocks were spotless. The minibus from the site into and back from Edinburgh was a great bonus, the driver was ace! We also took the mainline bus into the city one day which was about a 15 minute walk from the site. Can’t wait to return!

Cheery welcome

Edinburgh Club Campsite
Spent 2 days at this site on our quick tour of Scotland..Reception was very pleasant and the young couple on duty very cheerful and friendly. The site itself was clean and tidy as were the facilities.Staff working very hard to keep site tidy. Worth mentioning though is the need perhaps for 2 washing machines and 2 dryers in both toilet blocks as there was a queue for the 1 lot in use whilst I was using it. Handy site if you need to visit the city with a bus stop within 10 min walk. Beautiful walk to Crammond and environs.

Excellent site for Edinburgh

Edinburgh Club Campsite
We had 3 nights here in our motorhome. The welcome was excellent. The pitches are large and spacious and the toilets and showers, although a little dated were clean and functional. Small dog area, wouldn’t describe it as a walk! But it’s a short walk out of the site for some green space. Generally the site was quite quiet but there are regular flights going overhead so a bit of noise from them but we didn’t find it a problem and the flights stop overnight. It’s a 10 minute walk to the bus stop for either Edinburgh (27) or the Royal Yacht (16). Flat fare of £1.85 each way. Bargain! Enjoyed our stay and would use the site again.

Didn’t know what to expect after reading some reviews

Edinburgh Club Campsite
This stay was our last in our first tour of Scotland and having read some of the reviews ahead of arrival we arrived with a little trepidation. Our fears were unfounded, we were welcomed and given lots of information, there were plenty of pitches to choose from, all very well spaced and with lots of lovely shrubs and tress for privacy. The toilet blocks are standard for The club but the showers are so powerful and warm and no timer - wonderful. Although the public transport is excellent and cheap, the convenience of the mini bus service into the city was an added bonus. Yes, there is a little noise from aircraft but living in. Manchester that didn’t bother us. Lovely walk down to the promenade which is a great place for families. Would we come again..... absolutely.
