Limited basic facilities

Vurlands Farm
Only gave this site 3 stars for various reasons. The field slopes, so you need ramps. The water trickles it takes nearly 10 mins to fill a 40 ltr aquaroll. The chemical disposal is literally a hole in the ground with a rusty lid on. The tap at the chemical disposal point trickled and was not much use. We payed at the cafe when we arrived to a member of staff for our 2 weeks stay but never saw the owners all the time we were there. There are signs all around saying they want paying as soon as you arrive. Having said all that the grass is kept well maintained and pitches have good views. In my opinion I think it is a expensive site at £17.50 per night, it is not £15 as advertised.

Lovely

Vurlands Farm
We spent a week at this site and found it lovely. Slight road noise but it wasn't intrusive. Entry was easy (look on Google earth first). It was windy while we were there but the site is quite sheltered from the prevailing wind. We had cakes from the tea room which were lovely as was the sunday roast! We will be back if in the area again.

Brilliant site. No signage

Vurlands Farm
Had a good stay here. Wonderful views Good cafe, despite painfully slow service. No Caravan and Motorhome Club signs at entrance or any directing you to the CL, luckily the farm car park was empty so we could turn round , to go in the right entrance. main road quite busy, but very little road noise on site. Good TV reception. handy for West Bay, Bridport and Weymouth. Will definitely be coming back ( now we know which entrance to take ! ) . Reasonably priced.

Well kept

Vurlands Farm
Excellent kept site, is sloping so motor homes advised to pitch at top.  Small zoo on site with delightful sounds of some of the animals but a peaceful site.  Excellent tea rooms with home made food.  Cogden beach just down the road with national trust carpark very reasonable.

Good Site for Jurrasic Coast

Vurlands Farm
This site is great if you want to explore the Jurassic Coast. It is sloping, but the views are very good. It is just a simple field with electricity and water points. The teapot cafe does very good crab sandwiches, and excellent Dorset Apple cake, although their toilets are not available for people on the CL.
