Over night stay

Well Hill Farm
A lovely working farm with great walks  Lambing was taking place while we were there  Watching the horses exercising whilst having breakfast  On the downside noise from the traffic and a charge of £10.00 not £7.00  No hook ups  No toilets  No water as it was turned off

Well Hill Farm

The farm dog uses the caravan field as a toilet. There are old desiccated turds everywhere and new fresh ones. When we arrived there were two on the concrete plinth for the water tap: they were still there when we left. The dustbins were full to overflowing and bags of rubbish lying all around them. The grass desperately needed cutting. And on top of that we were charged ten pounds for a night, that's without electricity. The owners were pleasant but the site was not. Avoid.

Warm welcome

Well Hill Farm
A warm welcome awaits on this lovely working farm, we stayed for one night which co insides with the Leeds festival hence the noise, which wasn't really too bad. So avoid August bank holiday if you are worried by the noise from the festival. Otherwise a really lovely place to stay with local footpaths for and great views.

A real working farm and a lovely welcome

Well Hill Farm
We stayed for one night on this farm and we were quite enchanted by the location. The postcode took the satnav directly to the entrance. A closed gate was a surprise but a reassuring sign and intercom were visible and we were soon in. The weather was poor and the forecast was terrible so we were invited to park up on the flat concrete in the middle of the farm, rather than attempt the wet slope up to the adjacent field. We hooked up to the mains inside the barn and filled up with water. A very pleasant time sitting in the motorhome with a drink, watching the workers, the sheep and the horses. Despite the wind and rain we had a lovely visit.
