Remote rest stop
17 Boggs Holdings
Initially intended only an overnight stop on our long trek south after several weeks touring the Cairngorms. Actually stayed two nights to refresh ourselves after a fairly frenetic period. The site is somewhat remote although there is a pub and a small Spar shop about 1.5 miles away. A well kept site with friendly owners.
Long weekend in Spring

This was only the 2nd time we have stayed on a C.L. Site and the 1st without electrics.. We loved it. The grass site was kept beautifully, the welcome was friendly - lovely owners. We could walk the dogs directly from the site or jump in thr car and take them to Yellowcraig beach. 20 minutes to Edinburgh and 25 mins to North Berwick. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful location and we will certainly be back.

Son and I stayed here in spring time, basic site with clean toilet,
however price reflects that and only £5 for the 2 us per night.

grass area off limits early in season but looked good size and flat, we just used it for frisbee fun instead

We only stayed here for one night but the owner was very welcoming. The site was level and spacious and the toilets were clean. There is a nice beach nearby and some of the villages we drove through looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't have much time to explore. Very easy access for Edinburgh.

A Fabulous Site
17 Boggs Holdings
We loved our stay here and would be regulars if we lived nearer. There is plenty of space for 5 vans and the field is flat and extremely tidy. There are recycling bins and toilets which were kept spotless. The site is surrounded by fields on two sides and a couple of houses nearby. There is options for public transport into Edinbugh, but we drove to Edinbugh City Centre and Leith with ease (maybe 25-35mins depending on traffic). This is a peaceful yet fantastic site yet only a short drive away from a beautiful city. What is not to love.
