The Caravan and Motorhome Club’s social media pages and accounts are designed to be enjoyable environments for our members and visitors to share experiences with each other, contribute ideas and feedback and find inspiration for enjoying the great outdoors.

The Caravan and Motorhome Club does not endorse any opinions on our social media channels and we are not responsible for the accuracy of any claims, information, advice or comments posted by fans/followers on our channels. We accept no responsibility for any resulting loss or damage.

About your posts

We ask that you treat everyone within our social media communities and environments with respect. All posts and comments are subject to the terms and conditions and data guidance of each social network as well as our House Rules.

The Caravan and Motorhome Club is not responsible for any content published by fans/followers to its social media channels, accounts and pages.

Contributing to our social media pages and accounts

Please only post content that you have permission to post. We assume that anyone posting or sharing content has the correct rights and permissions to do so.

When submitting material to our social media channels, you agree to only submit content that constitutes your own original work. You agree not to pass off as your own any text, images or videos or other material. By submitting or sharing images, videos, or other material to our social media channels, you grant permission for us to use your content in our marketing materials. The Caravan and Motorhome Club may contact you in these instances.

We advise that you never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else on our public pages. If you need to post personal information to enable us to respond to your request, we strongly recommend you do so only in a private message. The Caravan and Motorhome Club will never request private or personal information be sent in public.

You are legally responsible for what you post. Once your comment is online it is in the public domain – anyone with access to the social network can read it.

These guidelines include posts we consider to be spamming or trolling the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

Removing content

Posts and comments that fall foul of our House Rules may be removed and posters may be banned or blocked and reported to the relevant social network.

We reserve the right to ban persistent offenders on a temporary or permanent basis from contributing to our social media communities and to remove any content that contravenes our House Rules.

If you do not agree that your post or behaviour has broken our House Rules, you may contact us to request reinstatement of your content or account.

The Caravan and Motorhome Club reserve the right not to enter into discussion about any decisions made.

The Caravan and Motorhome Club may discuss reasons for any permanent or temporary ban through private message but reserves the right not to enter into any correspondence.

In serious cases – where persistent offenders deliberately cause offence, disrupt the community, create disharmony and are abusive to others – The Caravan and Motorhome Club will review the person's membership and appropriate action will be taken.

The Caravan and Motorhome Club reserve the right to amend these House Rules at any time.

Thank you in advance for your understanding and support in making our social media communities a productive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
