BMW tow cars

Over the years, BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke) have been a popular choice of towcar for caravanners and have made their mark in the Towcar of the Year competition - from their first overall win in 1982 with their classic BMW 528i to several class wins in 1997 (528i), 2004 (330d) and 2005 (525).

BMW have just been awarded two wins, with the X5 xDrive40d M Sport within its price class and within the All Wheel Drive over 1880kg category in the 2018 competition. For their towing ability, our judges praised BMW for each car's power, control and traction.
