As a regular attendee at Towcar of the Year and as a desirable choice for caravanners, Hyundai is certainly in it to win it. In 1996 the Sonata 3-litre V6 took a price class win and in 2009 it was the turn of the 2.5-litre i800 to take the £16,501 - £20,000 price class crown.
This year the 1-litre Hyundai i30 entered into Towcar of the Year and although it was pipped to the post in its price class, it impressed the judges with the engine’s pulling performance.
